Sounds like gastroparesis - that's such an awful feeling. Mine is always around, even if I'm not flaring.
Ask them if they'd do a gastric empty study. Basically you eat radioactive eggs and after an hour they do an x-ray to see where they are in your GI tract. Mine were still in my stomach.
The only med in the US to treat gastroparesis is Reglan, which is a super strong drug with not-great side effects. Mine were neurological. Some doctors will write you a script overseas for domperidone, which is a much, much better medication that's even safe when pregnant or breastfeeding.
