Feeling full and nauseous, need input

I was dx with crohns in 2008 and mostly had trouble with my colon and d. But also have GERD and diaphram hernia. I was on humira until march last year been doing great for the most part except last week or so. My blood work came back perfect in end of february.

I have a scope on monday. I started a liquid diet today and tomorrow I will take picoprep and again monday morning at 5 am, the scope is at 10:20 am.

Last week I have been having a hard time with my appetite and generally feeling nauseous and full for a long time and can eat smaller amounts before feeling ill and full. My bowel movements have not been as many likely due to loss of appetite but my poop is very thin if you know what I mean.

I talked to my nurse yesterday told her about my troubles and asked if i was clear for scope prep and she said that it was fine by them but I had to see how I was feeling.
Today I drank over the recommended 2 L and its been 2 hours since I drank anything and I still feel like I just stepped from the thanksgiving table.

Would love to get some input on this, please..

Sounds like gastroparesis - that's such an awful feeling. Mine is always around, even if I'm not flaring.

Ask them if they'd do a gastric empty study. Basically you eat radioactive eggs and after an hour they do an x-ray to see where they are in your GI tract. Mine were still in my stomach.

The only med in the US to treat gastroparesis is Reglan, which is a super strong drug with not-great side effects. Mine were neurological. Some doctors will write you a script overseas for domperidone, which is a much, much better medication that's even safe when pregnant or breastfeeding.
