There is a brand they sell at the grocery store called kevita. I LOVE it. Low calorie and tasty. My thoughts are that it's great!! I used to drink a lot of kombucha but now I always grab the kevita. I don't think it helps my inflammation sadly. I never found probiotics to help my particular case. I wish they did because I can eat a lot of them in different foods/drinks.

I've been drinking water kefir for a couple of years. It has pretty much eliminated my IBS and has done wonderful thinks for my friend who has severe diverticulitis. And just recently I discovered that it seems to have the power to heal frozen shoulder. I don't know yet if it will work for anyone else but, ye, gods, if it does it's like something close to miraculous. A week ago I wasn't able to sleep for more tan two hours at a time because of the pain, now I'm sleeping through the night and getting a lot of range of motion back.
I wouldn't bother with the kefir you buy at a grocery store. Get the live culture and brew your own. You get a lot higher quality of bacterias and in much greater concentration. It costs next to nothing (just sugar and a bit of molasses and some eggshell). You can put the grains in fruit juice and it gets all fizzy. I like to let it ferment until it is concentrated and a bit bitter, lots more potent that way.
