so I've had 4 perirectal surgeries to drain an internal abscess that started April 9th. The first 3 surgeries were done internally bc it was an internal absces (inter sphincter). The 4th was both external and internal bc the abscess was protruding and they tried both ways to drain. It wasn't successful. Now I have a fistula due to the external surgery, and my abscess is filling up once again. I saw a GI doctor for the first time today who doesn't think it's crohns bc they haven't found anything indicating it from my surgeries, ct's, mri's. They want to scope me but don't think I can handle it right now bc all of the surgeries I've had within 2 months. It's likely I'll have another drainage surgery plus a seton put in. I'm at my limit bc they keep telling me it's just bad luck that an abscess that required I 4 surgeries in two months bc of bad luck. I don't have enough symptoms for it to be crohns. I'm just tired. And exhausted. And broke. Any comments or similar situations would help. The GI I saw today wants to see in 6 weeks. And it looks like before then I'll have yet another drainage surgery or the seton put in. Thanks in advance for any advice.
