UCERIS vs. ENTOCORT EC?

was googling Entocort EC and Uceris came up. Not familiar with this drug. Is Uceris a long term maintenance drug for Crohn's... or is it for UC? Is it something to take as a replacement to Entocort EC? (like Asacol/Delzicol)? I am currently using Entocort EC but having trouble paying for it so i'm wondering if this is something i can switch to...

Entocort is available as a generic (budesonide EC) but that's still pretty pricey.

Uceris is newer - and even more expensive than Entocort. It can be used for UC or Crohn's colitis.

Both Entocort and Uceris are the synthetic steroid budesonide, but they are formulated to release differently. Entocort covers the terminal ileum and the right side of the colon. Uceris covers the entire colon.

Neither is for use as a long term maintenance drug because they're both steroids.
