Well....already seeing major progress from the time I started smoking it in 2013 when the pain of the Recto Vaginal pain and severe constipation with frequency almost killed me with shear pain and I seriously wanted to kill myself, and NO! I'M NOT EXAGGERATING ONE BIT! And I was telling my GI when I finally was able to get in and see him about my new horrifying experience, that I started smoking it, and why, and how it helped with some issues but especially with completely dulling the pain in my groin area (vagina and anus and rectal pain) better than Tylenol....AND, how taking Tylenol made my constipation worse and he said "keep smoking it, what ever helps, is all that matters" (so he clearly approved) but he then also went on to say how you need 2 doctors approvals and it's a big process to go through (this was also right after I told him how my family doc was pissed that I was smoking it)....
Now to present day, about 4 weeks ago I go to a new dr office cuz my pissed family doc deserted his practice (found out that it's cuz his wife was leaving him) and this new doc office is majorly now promoting medical mj and for these following criteria to be met...check this out....
Criteria for medical marijuana are the following;
MS
Crohn's, Ulcertative Colitis
IBS
Anxiety
Insomnia
(possibly another 1 or 2 conditions that I may have forgotten) PONT IS,
They've not only added more less life-threatening disease BUT ALSO, made the process easier though I do believe that you still need 2 doctors with one being a specialist in disease and conditions.
Oh, and by the way........I finally got to see my GI (as I mentioned above) and he put me on Humira, so....... I was already smoking mj and it relieved my physical discomfort and some symptom breaks (like frequency which BTW helped cut the pain down too which was amazing) So after he put me on Humira, I continued to smoke weed for the fact that my CD finally went into remission AFTER 23 VERY LONG YEARS OF CONSTANT FLARING due to be either allergic or non-responsive to oral RX I had continual inflammation for over 2 decades and 14 yrs in with CD I then also developed IBS AND lactose intolerance so I've been literally living hell for half my life now since I was 23 going on 24 when I became sick and diagnosed.
medical mj has come a very long way since I only recently started smoking it...LEAPS AND BOUNDS where I live in AB Canada and I truly appreciate it because of the stigma attached as it is with mj, I hate not doing it by the book but that just shows since I went against my morals that my health has changed me as the person I used to be is hardly recognizable to me anymore...this disease stole everything from me so I'm glad I don't have to jump through hoops to get it the legal way.
