Fistulotomy

I have just undergone my 5th surgery of the Summer with a Fistulotomy and cutting seton put in. Previously I had 4 surgeries and they drained a pint of pus from the abscess, placing a seton. The consultant surgeon said it is the worst abscess he had encountered for a number of years.

I have one more surgery in 3 months (lay open, remove seton). Will be better in 6 months he said. I am unsure if I have Chrons/Collitis but think probably not.

Any advice or similar experiences?
