need some ideas and input

i just had brain surgery on Sept 10th to remove a benign tumor. all seemed to go well until Sunday night I started to pass gas through my penis (sorry for being frank and direct). i also started to feel crappy. yesterday, tuesday still passing some gas through same, no bowel movements. went to ER. they did blood work, no infections or such, did a CT scan and did say they say a little air in the bladder with a what looked to be a small diverticuli connection. this was not from the brain surgery but probably a crohn's thing. is this the start of a fistulia? but they were not sure yet. I am waiting a call back to be looked at tomorrow, unless it gets painful, which it is not I have had crohn's got almost 18 yrs and never had this occur (i know i am lucky) but what do i need to asking the Dr? what should I expect to happen? I have yet to have a bowel movement and i am getting very full. but no pain, yet outside of head surgery.

I am on humira and have been for 1 year. but it was time for a recheck since nothing has every really put me into remission . HAd resection surgery 5 years ago

Hmmm, it would be kinda weird if you developed a fistula while on Humira....Ides makes a good point about the catheter possibly causing the air to leak from your penis, I don't even know if men get that with a fistula, I know recto-vaginal fistulas do that since I had one but didn't know med could get that symptom as well. I went on Humira specifically due to my recto-vaginal fistula which it cleared up along with my CD inflammation as well.

so here is the outcome of the dr visit. i am having cystogram ct scan done tomorrow. they inject dye via my "P" and track the flow of urine backwards. this will hopefully show that there is no fistula. and it was just some residual air in bladder. if is a fistula, then it will show the connection. and we would review next steps. the concern they have is while i am not having poop through my "P", I have still had no bowel movement and this can mask the fistula, if there is one. so they said since i am here might as well get it done.
I am hoping no fistula. but given it has been 6 years out from resection, and i have on and off inflammation and they did see air, it is concerning enough to get it checked as many of you know these can be quite difficult to deal with. i might know monday test results. this would be a huge fluke if this showed up while having brain surgery...

No Fistula! Just got the results.....GI does want to do another colonoscopy once i am healed from th brain surgery to check on things.

Today, though, having swelling around my eye. happened to be in surgeon's office having stitches taken out (all 40 of them!!) and he looked at the swelling and wants to see me again in 2 days. he said he wasn't too concerned as this does happen once in a while, but given my medical history, crohn's and humira, he does want to take any chances. so here i am...with yet still another set back..
