Starting Humira this week--immune support questions

I've recently been diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn's colitis and am starting Humira on Friday. I'm concerned with how this will affect my immune system and wondered if anybody had any ideas on how to support it. It's confusing because I wonder if immune supporting supplements will be counterproductive for Humira. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help.

Your immune system is already compromised with having Crohn's, Humira reverses inflammation, yes it's still at a threat because it's designed to deal with your already messed up immune system, basically a catch-22 but that said, it put my flaring for 23 yrs straight with crohn's into remission for the first time ever. I haven't had any severe complications as a result this far and have been on it for almost 2 yrs...and I take it weekly not biweekly, only side effect was horrid headaches, taking an antihistamine before bed the days I do my shots has alleviated that issue.

Thanks guys. I'm getting my loading dose tomorrow morning and will just be supplementing with probiotics for now. That may change as my treatment continues.
