Antibiotics causing diziness/panic attack?

I'm on cipro and metronidazole (500 mg) for the last 6 days for a mild flare. Last 2 days have gotten progressively worse in terms of feeling dizzy and yesterday I had a panic attack. I told my dr and he said to cut out the metronidazole. I'm a little confused, everything I read online is that cipro causes panic attacks and dizziness.

I had an extreme reaction to Cipro. My heart was racing, I literally could not sleep more than an hour a night for months. I felt like my brain was shaking inside my head. It was awful! This was after only a few days of taking it. I had taken Cipro many times years before this and I was just fine.... I know I am one of the rare ones, but it was truly a nightmare.

As far as the Flagyl, that makes me extremely nauseous so I can imagine it might make one dizzy as well. Did the symptoms start right when you started the antibiotics?
