Yes, I have Crohn's, specifically in the small intestines up to the terminal ileum. They were pretty sure I had it when they did a CT a few months ago and they did the capsule endoscopy to confirm. I have not actually seen the GI since before the CT scan, communciation has largely been through the nurse, though the GI called me once to talk about wanting to start me on Remicade (I am currently on Entocort). I really just want to maintain weight. I am currently at an okay weight, smaller than I like but not yet at underweight.
The amount I can eat at a time has gotten smaller, but I am trying to eat more frequently and am trying to shoot for higher-calorie foods. More liquids may not be bad, I think it would avoid some of the issues with the quantity of food I can eat at one time. I have been liquifying most of my veggies. I am not sure what all can be added together for liquid consumption beyond veggies. I didn't realize there was a difference between a nutritionist and a dietician, that is good to know.
My other symptoms are the weight loss, severe stomach pain, mild fever, bad joint pain, constipation alternating with diarrhea sometimes, muscle twitching, fatigue, eye pain, and urgency/cramping. The Entocort has helped with the symptoms somewhat but they are still pretty prevalent. It doesn't seem like it is having the impact it should. The stomach pain was better but it seems to move around.
