Fecal leakage (soiling) and fistula

Minnie...I have leakage even though I no longer have my fistula. It is limited, but my bigger issue is that it is never totally clean down there due to some inflammation. When the inflammation after movement subsides, a little mess is left behind that I did not wipe or know it was there.
Soaking and shower sprays really help to limit the surprises. It also helps the itching. When I am out and about, I have a pack of kids wipes in my bag and a small bottle of saline. The saline is great to get the area soothed and cleaner without painful "scrubbing" wiping.
