My doc thinks I may have Chron's but doesnt seem sure

Hey all -

Being experts in this disease, I was curious if you guys had thoughts if my symptoms are actually Chron's or my doctor just not really knowing -

First flare up was 3 years ago, blood in stool, weight loss, getting full quickly, stomach pain - did a colonoscopy with a negative result, including biopsy.

about 1.5 years ago, I started getting odd sores in my mouth and throat. Really painful and not really canker sores. I went to a ton of doctors, who also did biopsies, but they were stumped. The sores would spiral around and all the doctors said it looked like some sort of auto-immune issue. However, I did every blood test under the sun and nothing came back.

Fast forward to today and I am having awful stomach cramps and pains, my left knee aches as does my left shoulder blade (which has never happened before) and my left eye is puffy and looks like it has psoriasis.

Her explanation is that all these symptoms seem to related to something autoimmune related and so kept coming back to Chron's.

Just curious if anyone thought this made sense given all the negative tests and biopsies.

Very possible that you have Crohn's. It's not an easy disease to diagnose unfortunately. For many of us its taken years to get a proper diagnosis. As scifigal said a colonoscopy can only show so much of your digestive tract. A pill cam would be a good idea. Probably going to need to repeat the colonoscopy as well since it's been 3 years. A lot can change in there in 3 years. I'd say you definitely need more testing, I'd try to find a good GI doctor to try and figure this out for you. Good luck!
