:-( I have not carried an extra bag of clothes with me in a very long time...more than 11 years. Sneezed at my desk yesterday and awwww crap...literally. This is even with taking the cholestyramine. Yeah I know I need to see the GI...blah blah blah. Had to spend some clean up time in the restroom and went commando the rest of the work day.....had a lunch meeting I could not miss (hey the CEO invites some folks for a get to know you thing, you go no matter what). I was terribly worried I might smell funny, but hubby told me I was worried for nothing on that.

I liked that time when I forgot what it was like to ooops. Back to carrying some clothes at least in my car for some time....just to get back to being comfortable feeling.

Sorry about that. Yeah, accidents suck :-/ I've had a few since my reversal, but all little ones and all at home. Entocort has helped a lot with my urgency, which - while it didn't result in many accidents - was probably my worst symptom. I suffered from it really badly.

Don't be hard on yourself. I don't have Crohn's and I've had accidents like that as well.

It happens to the best of us. I actually keep a small bag inside my purse at work with clean panties, a plastic bag to seal up any soiled ones and some wipes. The things we do just to get through a day!

Sorry that happened to you....it makes for such a difficult day. I've also had those insecure days where I've had D all day and worry that I smell bad, or my underwear isn't soiled but damp and then I'm worried I will leak and show. I also am not really in the habit of carrying extra clothes as it happens so rarely, but I guess I really should keep something in the car at least.

I remember during an intense flare in college, I had a bad accident, snuck into the dorms like a spy and dashed into a b/r when the coast was clear. Sometimes it just comes with the territory. Recently I've been taking a half or quarter dose of Imodium while flaring but definitely ask doc first.
