Is there anyone being treated in the Ottawa area with the Anti-MAP Therapy for Crohn's Disease? If so can I get the contact information for your doctor.

TDeanna - don't know of any docs in Ottawa, but maybe check out the RedHill locations and see if any of these locations are somewhat close to you, then see if the supervising doc has a private practice. My guess is that the RedHill location docs will be more apt to listen to AMAT research, but it's just a guess.

Canada Mark - have you tried Mount Sinai in Toronto? They're on the RedHill list. You may both have better luck with an infectious disese doc, especially if you have positive cultures from John Aitken. If you find anyone, let me know and I'll add them to the confidential list I keep!

Will do Irishgal,and I never thought of trying there. I'll check it out sometime this week.

PS - I have a positive from John Aitken and positive from Dr. Zhang in West Virginia. Both were able to culture viable and visible MAP bacteria from two separate blood samples spaced a few months apart. Dr. Zhang also did antibody response tests and PCR. So I do have more than most going in... but finding a doc willing to try treating is just crazy difficult here.
