Questions for New GI

I've got an appt with a new GI next week. My old one moved out of state, and I didn't have a very positive experience with the other GIs in that practice. Instead of sitting back and see what all the GI says, I'd like to have a few questions ready to ask. Do you have any other suggestions?

What is your treatment style? Big guns first?
What do you think about alternative medicine?
How often do you do colonoscopies for CD patients?
How do you stay up to date about CD?

In the era of docs being forced (by admins who are not docs or nurses) to spend less time per patient and do more procedures it is hard to find a doc who scans the MR before coming in
It would be nice


You can ask how many Ibd patients they see a month
How often they use steroids, what kinds?
What percentage of patients in remission
How long does it take for patients to get to remission etc...
