I'm not sure I understand your current situation. Did you have a 6 year remission while on other anti-TNF's, then a resection, followed by an obstruction?

If you're now resorting to Entyvio, the only thing I've heard is that it can take longer to reach effectiveness. Maybe your GI should add something to get you through for a few months while the Entyvio takes hold. Perhaps some Prednisone might be in order.

Are you quite sure that Entyvio is the blame? The fact that you had good success on Humira is a good sign that you respond well to Anti-tnf therapy.

Have you tired Remicade?

Remicade is still the most successful drug for treating Crohn's that we have. Also, works much quicker than Entyvio.

Entyvio is much slower-acting than Remicade - I think it was just coincidence that you had the partial obstruction when you did. Although I'm not sure what you mean by the other stuff about not being able to work and mouth hurting?

I understand the fear of eating after a partial obstruction. Has a stricture been confirmed yet? If not, think you need a scan to see what's going on at the resection site. Also, you probably know this already, but follow a low residue diet for a while. Sometimes I was on a half-liquid/half low-residue diet - you can pack hundreds of calories into a single drink quite easily. That will lower the risk of another partial obstruction.

I'm not trying to sound rude and sorry if it came across like that. I'm not sure if entyvio caused partial obstruction but it made me feel horrible.
