C Diff

I have been put on antibiotics for an infection and have been switched a couple of times from one to another and am now experiencing some diarrhea and feeling icky. I was diagnosed w/ Crohn's in 2012 and have had somewhat mild symptoms. My question here is would I know if it was C Diff? I mean I have never had it but am scared that I might from the antibiotics.

My son has had recurring C- Diff (horrible). He did not get it from antibiotics but from his flora being "off balanced" because of Crohns. C Diff makes him weak, nauseous and takes aways his appetite. His "regular" diarrhea does not have those additional symptoms. I hope you can find out what it is. He has had many bouts and takes higher and higher dosages of vancomycin each time. Next stop - fecal transplant!?? Best of luck with it all!
