Whoops! I've done that before on accident, too.
I'm glad it's going well! I had the seton in for about
three months the first time, then we took it out when I started Remicade (which I'm still on) to see if it would heal. It did not, and I kept getting c. diff., etc., so we stuck another seton in that I had for probably a good 2-3 years.
I can't remember super well how quickly it stopped draining, I was pretty sick at the time with Crohn's flares, c. diff, and pancreatitis. I was hospitalized 13 times in about
a 6 month period, so it's all kind of a blur. I don't remember having to wear pads or anything from it much, though.
