Crohn's & female issues

Hi all-
This question is obviously for the ladies. I've noticed in the past year or so that sex has become uncomfortable, and for a day or 2 after, my abdomen is achy and tender. Any ideas as to what the problem might be? My scans and scopes have been pretty uneventful in terms of active Crohn's, so I'm wondering if it could just be hormones or even scar tissue? It's really starting to become frustrating, so any help would be greatly appreciated! I have an appt coming up with my ob/gyn, and I'm certainly going to try and get some answers then as well. Thank you in advance!

You could have some scar tissue and adhesions going on. So if he is deeper and your uterus gets jostled a bit, it could be slightly attached to something and things are pulling. How long does it last?

It typically lasts throughout, and then I'm pretty sore the day after. 😩

Yeah, I think it sounds like adhesions, but I'm not 100% certain on that. Do you get cramping on period? Does it feel the same as this?

Yes, it's definitely similar to the cramping I get on my period.

I didn’t have pain during sex, but I always felt like something was pulling on my lower right side of my abdomen. It was annoying. Then I had to have an emergency resection and the surgeon said that my intestines were so inflamed that they were stuck to my right ovary. That’s why I was feeling the pulling. He cleaned it up, and I hadn’t felt that pulling sensation since then.
