Anyone take Budesonide/Symbicort/Entocort?

Hi everyone!
I was recently diagnosed with Crohns and have been put on Budesonide (Pulmicort, Entocort, Symbicort) 3 mg, 3 times a day. Has anyone every taken this? Does it cause weight gain or any other symptoms?

I've been on Entocort a few times over the years - maybe four courses of it in about the last 12 years.

I didn't have much weight gain, more like just gaining back the five pounds or so I had lost. But some people do gain more weight than that.

I did seem to have an increase in headaches the first time I took it. But the other times I took it, I didn't notice any increase in headaches. So it may have been just a coincidence.

It works pretty well for mild flareups involving the terminal ileum and/or ascending colon. But it's not nearly as effective for severe flares.

I've taken it a few times.

No side-effects for me, but on the other hand it didn't work quite as well or fast as prednisone did (a systemic, faster-acting steroid, but also comes with more side-effects in the short term).
