Meds like imuran, 6mp, remicade, humira, stelara, etc. are all considered safe during pregnancy.
But that's assuming you were already on the medication before you get pregnant.
Doctors are more reluctant to start you on one of these meds once you are already pregnant, just in case you have a bad reaction to the medication - which could then in turn harm the fetus. If I remember right, 6mp and imuran are more worrisome in this situation than the biologics.
However, since you took imuran before and didn't have any adverse reactions, the odds are much higher that it would be safe for you (and the baby).
Unfortunately it doesn't work quickly. Pred does, but we all know it can have side effects.
So maybe a short burst of pred. Better still, maybe try budesonide first and see if that's enough to get your flare under control. It costs a lot more but generally has far fewer side effects than prednisone.
Suppositories or enemas with steroid are available if mesalamines didn't work for you (and they usually don't if you truly have Crohn's colitis).
As for foods, eat what you can. Try to keep it healthy, but remember you need a lot of calories now. So eat what you can tolerate. Maybe supplement with shakes or something too if needed.
