Sorry to hear your recent struggles. Good that you seem to be getting good care, as the meds recommended will be your best chance at an effective treatment plan.
Almost everyone that gets introduced to anti-TNF therapy will do some of there own research, and ultimately end up "scared to death". When Remicade first came into use, if even had a FDA black box warning. The cancer fears were based on massive dosages of these meds as they would be prescribed to transplant recipients.
I'm not trying to say that any of the meds commonly used to treat Crohn's today are totally safe, but the as time has gone on, most have tolerated anti-TNF's pretty well.
Hope Entyvio works well for you. If not, there's always other options. Remicade is still the gold standard, but Stelara seems to be also particularly well received. Good Luck going forward.
