It's been a long time since I last spoke with you all. My son was diagnosed in 2006,at the age of 9. Three years of immuran was actually detrimental. Two years of diet held him steady, but not thriving. Finally, five years after diagnosis, we put him on remicade. It's been 11 years and he's doing great. At 25 he has a B.A. in psychology, and a job in the field right out of university. He's bought his first home, has a lovely, loving, girlfriend.
Remicade has been a life changing therapy. Once a month, he goes for an infusion, and then lives his life. I'm still hopeful for a cure.
