Long term users of Humira...

I have been on Humira since the end of April and notice some benefit but it sure hasn't been the cure all - I keep thinking maybe with more time everything will get better. I was wondering what anyone who has been taking Humira for a long time has noticed as far as recovery time? Did all your symptoms disappear quickly or did it take longer for some? Thanks. MB

I started my humira injection with imuran back in august and I notice full benifets back in Jan. I still have some pains now and then with some irregular bm at times but I feel about 90% better since I started the medication.

I was on it for 2.5 years. I noticed a change in my health almost immediately, about 2 weeks after my loading doses. It worked REALLY well for me. I started to not respond to it about 2 years in - we bumped the dosing and still no change. Finally just went off it.

I am not sure what the normal response time is... but I know that with it, and other biologicals, that you can build antibodies to it over time which is what happened with me.
