Does anyone know if there is a connection between pelvic phlebolith and C.D.? thank you

A pelvic phlebolith is seen as a small, smooth, round, white opacity on an xray. Phleboliths are small areas of calcification in a vein. There is a correlation between pleboliths and diverticulosis. You might want to read the article at this site: http://www.ajronline.org/cgi/reprint/143/1/105.pdf
I have a phlebolith and both cecal diverticulosis and sigmoid diverticulosis. Probably a result of eating a low fiber diet for the majority of my life due to the negative consequences of eating fiber and having CD.
