My GI is considering putting me on humira. I am worried about the effects from my immune system being suppressed. How has it gone for people out there? Do you get sick often?

I've been on Humira for about 6-7 months and I haven't had any issues. Course I came off Remicade (on for 2.5 years, also an immune supressant) and never got sick and I am also taking Imuran (also immune supressant).

I really haven't been sick anymore than normal.

(Humira has been great for me!)

Ive been on it for two anh a half weeks and feel the best I have in a long while.
