Hi Vicky,
Not seen a post from you this week so far so thought I'd check up on how your doing?

Tess, that is so weird, I was thinking the same thing about
you! I'm not so bad, my mouth is still hurting though, and
the medicine is nearly finished, don't quite know if it's one that they will refill.
My body is aching real bad too. not just my lower back, but all over aching. I'm wondering if that could be prednisone,
or fibromyalgia, or it could be that I'm flaring. I guess I still have to remember that I'm not getting any younger.
Anyway enough of me. How is it going down on the "farm". That reminds me, what kind of animals do you have?
Do you have a small holding? Do you grow stuff? I always hear you talking about
the animals, but I've never asked.
I would love to know, it sounds interesting. Talk soon....

Hi Vicky,
Good to hear from you. I wonder that sometimes about
some aches and pains, if any of it is age related and not Crohn's. Yes we have a small holding, we have sheep, chooks, guinea Fowl, no goats any more they have all gone to the big carrot patch in the sky over the years, oh and one mad goose, whose gone so nasty he's dangerous. I've got him fenced off in the front paddock where he can't do any damage to man or beast, gets worse every Spring, I don't know I guess his sap is rising.!!! He had a mate but she died. I've just gone into maitainance mode around the place, and tried to streamline things.
I actually unpacked some of my art/craft work yesterday but soon began to wilt, I need to start up again, I wish I knew where the old me went. September isn't a good month for me its the second anniversary of my Mum and best friends death from breast cancer, they passed away within 4 weeks of each other, I think it hits home more now as I was recovering from surgery when it happened and was just so numb with everything. I was releived to get my mamorgram results on Saturday, all good, so that's a plus. ;-)

Tess, I'm sorry to hear about
your Mum and best friend, maybe September for you should be passed away quietly. Sometimes,
for whatever reason we need time out to reflect, and remember. Both my Mum & Dad have been gone for some years now, but
there's not one day that passes, when I don't think of them. Silly thing is, no matter how old I get, when I don't feel good, I still
want my Mum.
You said you got your art/craft work out, what do you do?I used to paint with water colours, but that was then! Like you, I wish I
knew where I've gone, there's not one hint of the old Vicky anywhere, and I think, that's probably, the saddest thing about
this
disease.
Anyway hun, keep your chin up, and maybe think about
getting another mate for the poor old gander, it might improve his
temper!!

Hi Vicky,
We've been out all day I actually got brain freeze in the fabric store and couldn't remember my pin number. DUH, luckily I had some cash in my purse so paid with that. I'd taken a couple of Panadine and was asking about
a felting needle and had two woman talking to me at the same time, by the time I'd got back to the card I could remember it, my husband just shook his head when I told him what just happened.
I used to do a lot of work for the National dog shows in the states, I work in fabric and paint, I also did a range of greeting cards, loved it and hope to gear up again when I get my act together a bit more.
I've been having some trouble with the spam filter when I tried to post yesterday, has anyone else had difficulty?

Tess, yes I think we've all been having some problems. I have to admit, you made me laugh about
your brain freeze. I do that all
the time. I've put it down to fibro fog, but if I were to be honest, most of the time it's because my head is up my ****.
Your artwork sounds cool I'd love to see it. Perhaps you could e-mail some pics, if you have any. My address is with my details,
or it will be, when I now add it..
