white hair- side effect?

I too am 32 years old and have the same problem.  I have found they seem to multiply when I jerk them out.  Like you said they are a different wiry texture from the rest of my hair.  I just thought I was getting old.....  I like the idea of the meds causing it better!  Sad thing is this is where my mom's hair is white too.

What meds are you on?  I'm on Pentasa, 6MP, Aciphex, Ostivia.

my first career was as a hairdresser, and you are pretty much the age to begin to gray. also, gray hair is a different feel, due to the chemical change that makes it gray.

I have been getting grey hairs since atl east I was 13. My mom was fully grey at 19. I am 28 and have quite a few that are definitly noticible but cant afford to get my hair dyed especially since I havent gottan any form of a check since August. I booked my appt for December since its near the holidays...I usually only have it done 2 times a year since I have it dyed then have redlights put in after then a cut so its about $85 before tip and I am there for at least 2 hrs....also another reason y I still havent gone post op. My hair dresser had an ostomy when he was 17. The Drs thought he had colon cancer since his disease progressed so fast and badly. He was later Dx with UC and has been fine since the ostomy but thats the difference with CD vs UC. Never really thought about his ostomy bag even tho I have been going to him since I was in high school. Then after I had my temp ostomy I thought back and never would have even guessed he had a bag on he is very thin and there is never a bag bulge. He and his wife dont have children but that was a personal decision they both made and not from meds etc
