Pneumonia is better..went to my daughters baby shower

Have been bed ridden for a weekwith pneumonia, except after coughing bouts, where I have to get up to change my undies.....can't always cross my legs in time. Also , this antibiotic is giving me D big time, which is unusual for me....I'm a C crohnie. So between coughing...peeing and pooping ....I didn't think I would get better in time for my sweet daughter's baby shower. I was wrong.! Hurray.I made it.....she was radiant...our guests were so generous and wonderful....my daughter #1 who threw her the shower was in her element....all was so nice! What beautiful memories I will have .

Now I need to rest up so I can be her labor coach in less than 2 months. I'm so afraid I won't make it.....but by golly, if I have to wear a diaper ....I am going to be there come hell or high water....or anything else that might decide to make an appearance. I am not going to let a little matter of incontinence or whatever else stop me from welcoming my new grand-daughter into this world.....afterwards the two of us can poop to our little hearts content together!!!

Mary! So good to hear from you. I am soooo glad that you got to go to the baby shower. I have no doubt that you will make it to the delivery. If you are still have the D you could try an immodium ad they helped me this weekend. I seemed to be having a flare (I went running to the bathroom 10 times in 1 hour....). I took an immodium so I could go to my brother in laws wedding (it was very important that I be there as less than 3 years ago I was hugging him and telling him God loved him and had a plan for him to be happy --- he couldn't understand why God had put him on this earth to suffer, so it was a major turn around and I was so happy to be there). I haven't been on the board much lately so sorry if I missed that you weren't feeling well. Take care! Thinking about you, your girls, and the baby-girl-to-be.
