Optic Neuritis

I've been diagnosed with optic neuritis so now I have to stop using Remicade. The eye doc isn't 100% certain that the Remicade is causing it but if it is and I stay I on I risk going blind in my right eye. I don't want to lose my sight but I also don't want to go back to a life of sitting on the bowl with D while throwing up in a bucket at the same time. Life is never dull or easy with this dd.

Hi Jodi, Sorry to hear about your problem that you have to stop Remicade. I have been on Reimcade
for over 2 years and no-side effects. Talk to your Gi doctor about Humira maybe it will work for you
with no-side effects.

Unfortunately optic neuritis is a "possible rare side effect" of all of the anti TNF drugs so Humira is not an option.
