If you have issues with the texture you can now get the same med in pill form. But if you have B12 issues you need to be careful. It binds to the B12 so it makes it even harder to absorb the B12. I only take the questran when I have to travel because I can't stand the texture or the side effects (gas, cramping, bloating) but it does do a good job of stopping the constant running to the bathroom. I have the pills now as well as the powder, so at least the texture issue is resolved. But my doctor, not the one who Rxed it, doesn't want me taking it because my B12 is so low.
Thanks for sharing that, I will ask about
the pills on Saturday when I get my infusion! I'd love to be able to take that rather than choke down that nasty stuff. I was unaware of the B12 issue though.
