I think health insurance are only out for your money. With our meds there is always a

co-pay. I am on Remicade for over 2 years very expensive drug. I my opionion they should pay 100% of meds. There should not be any co-pays to see your doctor or getting your meds. I don't know how everybody feels about this.

i hate them too. i specifically hate medecaid becasue they are thying to kick me our for earning a measly amount of money while i try to enter the world again and i hate them. and they always give me the run around and you alwayd have to have thing pre authorized. so, i hate them too

My copay for Remicade is $25. The hospital bills the insurance company about 11k. I don't mind paying $25.00.

I pay $15 for a Humira pen that costs $1000.  I'll pay the $15 bucks

Hi Bunny, Sorry that you are having trouble with medicade. All the insurance company love to take
your money. But make you still pay a co-pay for your doctor visit or your meds.

Just out of curiousity, what do you pay for insurance?  I think any of us on Remicade or Humira are making out like bandits.  Ins co's lose money with people on those meds

Unfortunately, nothing is free. I see the costs that both pharmaceutical companies and other providers charge for their services. Have you ever considered that they are a part of the problem? They charge 5000% of their charge for some implantables. That is a serious number not an exaggeration. Yes, I work in the insurance industry so I get to see the other side of the coin, but I am also a health consumer. It is not all the fault of the insurance companies. As long as providers keep the average American convinced that it is the insurance carriers fault, they will never have to be responsible for the exorbitant charges they have.
We have laws that prevent monopolies so they can not price gouge. Watch them jump on gasoline stations when they push up their prices during storms. Why are we not aware of the price gouging that doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical providers are doing every day?

a 3mo. supply of Humira costs me 50 dollars. I'm ok with that.
Although I agree. Some prices are crazy but the insurance companies are not to blame 100% for the steep prices on our mediations...
