What does this mean?

• Assay values above reference values were associated with small bowel, fibrostanosing and internal penetrating disease.

Does anyone know what this means? It is on my Prometheus test for one of the values. I registered a 73.8 and normal was <21.0.

I'm just wondering what I'm looking at. So far I haven't had any disease activity in my small bowel as far as I know. Never had a SBFT or any other test for that besides Scans and a eyeball view during surgery. All my disease seems to be in my colon, which the diseased part was removed last year.

It just means that an association has been seen between elevated values and the problems listed. It does not mean you will get small bowel disease, fibrostenosising or internal penetrating disease. I think you should discuss this with your GI for a better explanation than I can give.
