Bladder Issue

I've noticed, that since my last hospital visit, I'm having trouble holding my bladder. During the day, I'm fine, I go maybe once or twice al day, but when I go to sleep, I wake up 2-4 times a night, having to go! I think I've hit REM maybe 4 times in the last month, and only twice have I gone the whole night without waking up to pee. Is this a Prednisone thing? or is my mind stuck in hospital mode where I've got liquids pumping through me all night? lol

I'm not sure which is causing it either, but the same thing happened to me. It has gotten better, I'm 4 months post surgery, but I also started taking Ambien, lol.

i'm haing the same problem. i've had two peri-anal surgeries in the past month and i wake up atleast 2-3 times a night to pee.
it could also be because i'm trying to drink so so much water...
but i always drink a lot and i'm never up so many times in the night.
its getting quite annoying.
i think i've had 2 really good sleeps in the past 3 weeks.
yawn.

If you have fistulas as part of your symptoms, you could have a fistula connection somewhere to your urinary tract, and that may be causing urinary infections that increase the urgency. You might want to have your doc do a urine test to check your white count and look for any bacteria associated with urinary tract infections. IT could be something else for sure, but if it is involving a fistula, you want to head the problem off sooner than later. Things like that can get ugly fast if left alone, i went thru it myself.
