Urethral strictures and CD?

I Have had CD for 30 odd years now. I also have had problems with urethral strictures and have had to have dilatations done . I was wondering if there is any link/correlation between the two conditions?

My urologist, GI and GP think so. Welcome to my world! I had to wear a nephrostomy bag for a couple of months prior to my resect. Interesting enough, have not had near the problems since surgery except when my sed rate/inflamation gets too high.
