it's not much better but I wen't to my gasterologist and he redid my colonoscopy and my endoscopy and said my general practitioner was wrong.He said I have ulcertive colitis in my lower part of my colon.Moderate and a little irretation in my stomach caused by to many advil.Gave me prilosec.I don't know who to trust.What is the mortality rate on uc?

I think the mortality rate in UC is the same as Crohns. Neither is a death sentence and many people live normal life spans.

Hi glad your finding out about your stomach irritating hope you feel better. Also glad your not severe in the lower part . Hang in there and stay in touch. lol gail

Hi remember one thing you can always get a second opionion from another Gi doctor. If you are
not happy with this Gi doctor diagnoses.
