I'm not yet 30, but already go through bouts of joint pain. Just curious what age you started to treat it, or felt it needed to be treated. Bascially, when did it become more than a nuisance?
Thanks.

My joint/tendon/ligament pain started before I knew I had anything going on in my intestines. That was in 2000 and I was 35. My ankle was the first joint that acted up. I still have it too. Feels like the ankle is sprained.
Nowadays I have pains all over. It acts up in the late afternoon and keeps going until morning. It's horrible! I have had IBD since june 2006... or should I say thats when I had my first flare...

Thanks for your replies so far. I guess I am not too young to be bugged by this. So far it is mostly hips and knees with pain less often in my wrists or shoulders. It will hit in the afternoon/evenings several days/weeks in a row and then disappear for a while. Guess I am lucky that this is all I have for now.

Wow, it seems to start earlier than I thought.
