multiple drug allergies/serum sickness?

Withdrawal from steroids can cause these symptoms also. How long has she been off of them?

While a lot of us were on 2 drugs (including Remicade) I for one used the second drug to control the effects of Remicade. When I stopped taking 6mp (because my rheumy told me to) the other problems with Remicade became unbearable.

There is a ton of literature explaining that Remicade can and does cause joint arthralgias and/or arthropathies which they call Lupus-like syndrome, serum sickness, and hypersensitivity and delayed hypersensitivity reactions. Different doctors and papers have called them different things. And it depends on whether you have an allergic reaction the first time you use the drug or if it's after a long hiatus.

Most of the reactions are considered a Type III immunological reaction and the biologicals are the newest drugs added to the lists.

Thanks Writer, I found one schedule, but I want all the ammunition I can find. If I have to be on a drug, I'd rather try the 6mp again.
