Well guys, they told me that they were getting my colonoscopy & endoscopy before the end of Nov. but I guess with the holidays
it's not going to happen. My date for the scopes is Dec. 3rd, and my MRCP is the 5th. So to days close together with NPO and prep.
Oh joy!, but after reading Randy's post I'm not complaining!!!

For the CT scan I was only NPO for 4 hours, for the MRCP I had no prep at all. You may want to call and ask for prep directions (of course I had to go a day early for pre-meds as I'm allergic to IV iodine).

Judy you maybe right. I know I have to starve from midnight for the MRCP, I will double check prepping...
Can't wait to see what prep they will want to use for the scope prep. He's new to me so I'm not sure what he uses...

Hi Tess, I wish that too. The doctor did say on Friday, that he thinks we're dealing with pancreatitis right now. I did some
reading on chronic pancreatitis, and I have to admit it scares me. I don't want my life shortened by something that may
have been prevented. I know that sounds dramatic, I probably have read too much, but it's scary.
How are you doing? Do you have a little more energy?

You are not sounding dramatic. You have been through a lot, and it seems natural to me that you would be frightened. I hope your tests aren't too hard on you and you get good news. I'll be thinking of you.
