Hi Hope it works fast for you have you started it yet? Steriods are not fun and sure be glad when I can get off them too. I have been on them since Jan. only off 2 weeks and feeling it's been longer then long for me. So what are you on now for doseage? Hang in there and maybe Hum will do the trick. lol gail

I found that it took the two loading doeses and then 3 maintenance shots (about
8 weeks)before it really kicked in. I think it varies with each person. Good luck to you.

Hi. I noticed a change in about
2 weeks with the D. I have only been on it less than 5 weeks, am on the same meds pred 10 and entocort 6 but I feel better in general except for ruq pain which is unrelated to humira. My doc said 3 months to me. So I am going to start to taper probably after the next dose.

I would say about
8 weeks or so! But could take about
3 months to really kick in. I would stay on a low does until you are feeling "good" well at least for what us with Crohn's consider good. As bad as steroids are and make us feel don't rush to much... Good Luck to you and please keep all of us posted! Steroids are one of the hardest things in the world, so hopefully this will help and you don't have to be on them. I really haven't had to be since Humira!!

Well had to jump back up on my steriods from 10mg to 15mg. Going to 10 and 5 are so hard for me i start to flare every time. I have been doing so good thought the humira was working. But i get my first mat. this coming tuesday. I have only had the 4 then the 2 injections so maybe there is still hope. I want to see if the shots work by being off steriod completely. I can try to deal with diaherra but the nauses is so hard to deal with. So after that i will try to drop my steriod to 12 instead of 15. Im so flipping steriod dependent but that is the only ting that works for me. I drop the steriod and 3 days later im having alternating diaherra with hard stools. So werid normally dont have that either one of the other. Been like that since the 16th of November. So dr. wanted me on 15mg for another two weeks but i think after first week i will try just to drop by 2mg and see. I wish my adreneal glands would kick in and work. thanks for the support.

Try to stick with the Humira and give it time. It took about
two months to really see a huge improvement for me. By three months, I was in remission and off steroids. I hope it works for you.
