Pregnant with an ostomy?

I usually post over on the ostomy board, but thought I would leave this question here as well, seeing as CD and ostomies are often linked. I don't suffer from CD or UC, but do have an ileostomy. Have any of you carried a pregnancy while having an ostomy?

Can you share your stories/experiences?

We had a patient last year with an ostomy deliver a healthy baby via csection,both Mom and baby did great!! Good luck

Can anyone else offer insight?

Hi Ash, not too many people on this board have ostomies. The ones that do have had their children before their ostomy or are male. Might I make a suggestion that you post your question on the ostomy forum, maybe someone there might be better able to answer your question.
