I had my 7-day xray today and little rings are still in there, so I have to go again monday. I am still hurting like crazy and wishin' I could take a hit of glycolax. cross your fingers they decide this actually tells them something! happy weekend, yp

I have slow transit too but only know from my small bowel series taking 5 hrs.  What is this ring test youre talking about?  Are you being treated for it at all?  I am currently sick with crohns of the rectum only and am on 1 1/2 caps of mirilax a day.  The problem is that i think the mirilax is increasing my urges to run to the bathroom (about 30 times a day) but i need it to have any productive bowel movements at all.  Its a catch 22!

this test it called a sitz marker test and you swallow three capsules over three days and they have little tiny rings in them. then you have xrays every 3 days and they watch were then end up in the colon. I understand your catch 22--I have that experience as well. but I would give anything for that now that I can't take anything until all the markers are gone.

Hi Hope you get the rings out and get feeling better soon. I was told I had a slow system too .Yes I hope that the test help you . lol gail
