Hey all, I'm from the Lyme forum.
I just wanted to know if anyone here takes S Boulardii for their intestine issues?

Hi peacesoul... I took a quick look and S. boulardii is not in the probiotic we use, nor is it in VSL3. I believe it is in Garden of Life's probiotic, though, and a product I see some people talk about here called Florastar.

What do you know about it? I see it is a strain of yeast. Do some folks have trouble tolerating it because of this? Just curious... Always trying to learn more about probiotics.

Hi, So far everyone I asked about it has tolerated it very well.
It is a yeast but not the type of yeast that would cause candida.

When I read up on it, it was indicated for Crohns so thought I would see if you folks may have been taking it?
I started it and it seems to have stopped my abx induced diarrhea
