Hello fellow CF'ers,

                  Hi i found this site about 2 weeks ago n this is the first post i've sent i have cf and cfrd, i'm 22 next month (May) and live in australia my health is currantly verry up and down.

                  I am hoping to make some new cf friends but haven't yet seen any online sad   So i'm asking you to come out of hiding and meet me yeah  I will try be a fun and entertaining friend to any one who is willing to do the same yeah                   I will get back to every one who writes me i would like to say eventually in deep hope there are lots of replys tongue

      Thankyou for your welcome and reply apreciate it, only i can't find the part you are talking about i remember stumbling across it when i first took a look around but i cant remember how i did. I'm pretty new to all this confused

      I'll keep looking tho i'm sure i'll get there in the end lol x x x

I'm knew at this also. I,m trying to find adults wiith CF. I'll turn 40 on April 15th but i've never had anybody with Cf to share the same things I'm going through.

                     Thank you for your reply it's muchly apreciated. Happy 40th birthday for the 15th. There is nothing i would like to her more than your story i think each CFer has such a unique strory, we are in simular situations but every one has such differant views and feelings. I know i'm one who feels as much as a love my family and friends they just don't REALY understand not a like a fellow CFer,

      Thank you for your reply, you are right i haven't had any problems making friends every one is very friendly and welcoming. I have heard so many brave and intresting stories already. I am really enjoying getting to know the ppl here at HW yeah      Well i hope to get to know you and every one here better :-)

How is the CF centers, and insurance there in Australia. Do you find that the doctors know allot about CF scool

Hello Mark,

          Here i find the cf dr's to be really great they are very helpfull in majority of aspects. I have never had a problem with any of my treatments or dr's (cept i was on timentin and alergic to it) they treated me well they don't seam to treat you as a number but as a person the generaly show an intrest not in in my care but also in my life. they know what cf is does and can do and do there best to keep me informed.

          I'm not sure exactly how the insurance is or if it is one. We have medi-care and on that we don't need to pay for treatment and the treatment thats is paid for we get back of medi-care. i hope that answers your question :)
