What is the difference b/t regular diabetes and cf-related diabetes? It must really SUCK to have cf than to turn around and it cause you to have diabetes to worry about
also.

Bleurgh, Cody that's the thought I hate, more bloody meds. I know everyone with CF has to have so many, but it's still a pain in the backside, and I hate them!!
I've been to the hospital today, and they've told me that my latest glucose tolerance test was again high, so they're going to do some routine blood sugar tests on me until they can figure out what's going on. I hate the word diabetes, it scares me. They've just told me not to worry.......But it's me, I can't help it. Anxiety levels are through the roof right now. Such an overeaction huh?
Thanks for the info though Cody, it's good to know the differences. I never knew them, makes sense though. Stupid CF mucous invading everywhere!

I'm pretty sure everyone with CF gets diabetes eventually.
I've been borderline for like 4 years now, and I have to go do a sugar test once a year.
I hope I never get diagnosed with it because I know for a fact I will not inject myself every day. Not happening.

Agggh, I would hate getting diabetes. Is CF AND Scoliosis not enough for one person?
