Pruned fingertips

I have had pruned fingertips for a over 2 weeks,,, no matter what i do.. it stays pruned. I am not using lotion... and i take a bath once a day.. and i dont handwash dishes... i am not even touching too much moisture during the day,,, and it stays pruned... If anyone know what this means,,, pls let me know,, i searched thru few websites to try find out what this cld mean... Cldnt find an answer, other than ppl say they get pruned after a bath or shower.. thats all.

Hey there, and welcome to the forums!

I've never heard of fingertips staying pruned. You're right with CF a lot of people tend too get pruned fingers really easily. Some think it's to do with the amount of salt in our sweat (we sweat 100% more salt then everyone else).

If it is bothering you, then you should see a doctor, they can do the right tests to find out why your fingers are staying like this, and if it's something to worry about or not.
