Hi Donnieboy,

As much as I hate to say it, it sounds like she wants some space. And I think it only fair that you give it to her. Let her work this out and if the two of you are meant to be together, you will.

If you keep pushing, she will start backing off. I know it is hard, but you must give her some room to breathe. She is asking for you to help her that way.

She just doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Just because she needs some space doesn't mean that she doesn't care about you. She just wants to get her head straight. Is she going to any counseling? I think that would be good for her right now.

Thanks Karen I know youre right. She skipped her second session :-( I just pray she goes this Friday to her doctor, she is suppose to talk to her about possible medications. Im just sticking my nose in so that she doesnt skip the doctors appointment. The rest as I said is in Gods hands. I havent been pressuring her, I am just being the friend she said she needs, but she keeps saying how sad she is things are this way between us, and she says she feels so guilty, I am just trying to show her that she doesnt have to be guilty thats all.

That is good. I know with depression, one of the common things we experience is guilt. For no reason. You have been very good to her and making sure that she sees her doctor is so important. You are a true friend. Hopefully this will change with medication and she will be back to herself. I wish you well.
