Of course, we will do our best to figure out a way to make you happier, but you could also visit a counsellor, since they are trained to do what you want right now. It is certainly worth a try.

Hi Heather, I am 18 and lost my mum to cancer when I was 12. I was very close to her but was to young to understand at the time, what was going on. So I hid inside myself to try and stay away from the greif. Lately, my depression has got so bad, I have felt many a time like just giving up... but now I have found, that there are so many people in the world who can help us through it, whether it is seeing a counseller, talking openly to friends and family when you feel the need, or even just writing you feeling and emotions down in a book (to keep for your private eyes only if that is what you want). I am doing all of these and more, but even though it hasn't been for long, I am already starting to feel the changes in myself. For the last 6 years I have been in the dark, holding in all of my emotions and greif, but now I have found the light at the end of the tunnel. I went over to the doctors, told them I needed someone who could help me get through this and they got the ball rolling. They will even give you a list of people or websites, or even phone numbers where someone is there to help you through it all. Just make that appointment and get your ball rolling, and just remember: Keep your chin up, as your not alone!! x x x x x x
