Good morning everybody,

I hope all of you are doing well.  I am freezing.  It has been a hard winter and we are going through a cold spell.  It has been down to 30 below zero at night and about 10 degrees during the day if that. 

What I was going to ask today is what is your favorite season.  Mine is autumn.  I like it because it is cool enough to work outside but still warm.  I love walking in autumn and seeing the changes in colors on the trees.  The air is crisp and I have more energy.

So let me know your favorite season and why it is so.

As far as weather & utility bills go, my favorite season is autumn.

Otherwise, I love summer. There are so many fun (& FREE!) activities in the summer -- summer dance, movies in the park, music in the park, beach volleyball tournaments, swimming in Lake Michigan ... plus, all the state parks are open for hiking. :)
Oh, I can hardly wait & we're already more than halfway there!!! Yea!

Gotta give a shout out to poor Old Man Winter, tho. Seeing the first snowflakes, watching my breath become visible air in front of my face, ice skating at Millennium Park, sitting in front of the fire looking out at the children building snow forts -- as much as I complain, I don't think I could really stand to give all that up ;)

Spring!

To see the world renew itself, it really does have that effect on me. There isn't much pine around here, so no leaves at all. When in spring the green is coming back, it is wonderful. To wake up with the sound of birds, to feel some warmth again, I love it!

im gonna be the odd one out- but winter! i have seasonal mood disorder and find heat very distressing, which is hard to avoid when you live is australia. i love winter cos i can wear my scarves, or curl up under my feather doona with a good book and a chai latte. i love the feel of a cold breeze slapping me in the face- its invigorating. i love wearing my pyjamas all day and my ugg boots- i love eating soup and feeling cosy.

I am glad that somebody loves winter, because right now I hate it. But it has been exceptionally cold the last few days.

I love winter! but our winter isn't as cold as some other places , it's around 4 in the night, and 12 durring the day here, so it's not too cold. I hate the summer because it's too hot here, we end up having to use the A/C a lot...

I can't handle extreem heat just like I can't handle the cold. I spend the summer in air conditioning too.

Spring is my favourite season, when its not too hot or too cold. Where I used to go to uni it was right out in the country and there was a farm on the campus so we used to see the lambs when they were really tiny! I cant regulate my body temp so summer and winter are both pretty much unbearable!! xx

My favorite is fall too because of the weather. I like it a little chilly outside, I hate the heat. All I think about during the summer is getting into air conditioning LOL.

Autumn. Simple.

I like the Autumn smell in the fresh air. College football season! I love college football!! I hate that school starts, now I will be going to college, so I am actually looking forward to it...!!

I love the Autumn too.  It is pleasantly warm and dry.  I don't like the heavy humid heat of summer and I don't like the cold.  Yesterday the high temp. here was -0 with wind chills to -30. I also like Spring so I can see my tulips and irises and other perennials coming up. Also I love all the flowering trees and the lilacs.

I use to have a floral shop and a plant nursery. So I was always into flowers and perennials going. I pretty much lost it all due to fibromyalgia, but I still have some stuff left. Plus my greenhouses. So I still plant flowers in the spring when I can. If you ever want to talk plants let me know.

Is Christmas a season?  smhair   Ok, I love Fall as I am lucky to live in a state with all 4 seasons and Fall is the smell of autumn in the air, picking apples, the sound of crisp  leaves rustling in the trees and then being raked up.  The first frost and then the return to Indian Summer..............love it.

The colors of the changing leaves............perfect season.
