I loved Simon's face...............Susan represents the normal, everyday people IMHO.  There is so much emphasis put on beauty and youth instead of talent and loving, caring people in this world that it is no wonder our youth get into problems with their self image............oops  I am preaching.......

I think that there is way too much emphasis on the way we look. I can see where our children get low self esteem and such. You are right Kitt. We should put more into the normal people in this world. That is what it is mostly made of. And a lot of the so called 'beautiful' people aren't beautiful inside. That is what really counts, who we are inside and whether we like ourselves or not. We are all beautiful in our own way.

I love that video, Kitt, and I'm so glad you posted about it here. I cry every time I watch it! (Good, therapeutic tears.....what a refreshing feeling that is!) I generally don't watch those types of shows, because I can't stand the cruelty that people exhibit towards others, but this was a victory for all the underdogs out there who are, as you all have stated, regular folks who deserve the same attention and dignity as all of those "superstars" in the media. Thanks again.

I'd say most of the beautiful people are just "painted" ladies, needing loads of make-up to show their faces. Or maybe they've been through lots of cosmetic surgery. The men too. Work out at the gym! Get those perfect abs! People are preoccupied with the way the LOOK. We seem to care more about all of this meaningless superficial garbage. Unfortunately, society doesn't pay much attention to the Susan Boyle's of this world. If her heart and soul is as beautiful as her voice, she would be one heck of a gal. I think American Idol needs a Susan Boyle!

I have been trying to download Adobe Flash Player so that I can watch the video, I have even tried troubleshooting. Has anybody got any ideas for me???

I have tried going on youtube, I can't seem to download the adobe flash point to be able to watch a video. Getting really frustrated with the problem. I tried three different new things today, am going to try to uninstall it and then reinstall it. Thanks though for the suggestion.
